Alysha Griffin

Alysha GriffinAlysha Griffin serves as the Special Projects Coordinator for the HBW. Currently, she is a MA student of Literature at the University of Kansas. As an undergraduate student, she received a BA in both English and history from Spelman College and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. In 2009, she received a UNCF/Mellon Mays Fellowship, and in 2010, she participated in the inaugural group of the African American Literatures and Cultures Institute. Through both programs, she was afforded the opportunity to explore her interest of humor in African American literature.
