Language Matters IV: Reading and Teaching Toni Morrison in Translation

Making the Wright Connection, funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Explores Richard Wright and his influence on the American idiom. The program includes a two-week summer institute to be held from July 11-24, 2010 at the University of Kansas, and subsequent virtual seminars that use technology to foster collaboration among participants.

The Black Metropolis Research Consortium is accepting applications for two fellowship programs:The BMRC Short-Term Fellowship Program in African American Studies and the Timuel D.
