Tiffany Spriggs

Retention Specialist

Tiffany Spriggs serves as a Hawk Link Retention Specialist in the Office of Multicultural Affairs. She will work with students enrolled in the Students Obtaining Academic Resources Program (SOAR) component of Hawk Link which provides free peer-tutoring and academic mentoring to Freshman and Sophomore students in the program. In this position she will focus primarily on first-year and transfer students in adjusting to college and being successful academically.
 
Tiffany holds a B. A. in Adult Fitness from Marshall University; Huntington, WV as well as a M.S. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas.  While working on her master's degree, Tiffany served as the graduate intern for the Student Involvement and Leadership Center (SILC). In SILC, her primary focus was to provide guidance, information, support, and referrals on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues to students, faculty, and staff.  Tiffany’s motivation for pursuing a career in higher education is fueled by her desire to provide disadvantaged students with the academic resources and professional tools to be successful in college and beyond.

When not at KU, Tiffany likes to mountain bike, watch football, attend concerts and spend time with her friends and dog. Rock Chalk Jayhawk – Go KU!
