Latino Comedy Show
Oscar "OC" Collazos knew he was born to entertain when he had everyone cracking up upon delivering a eulogy. Watching people die laughing in front of the one who had seriously died was sick and demented enough to make him realize he could do this comedy thing for real. Actually, that didn't happen, but it did make you wonder didn't it? OC got his club start when he was shamefully embarrassed at a talent show in New York City . After the crowd let him know their true feelings, he walked off the stage with unimaginable thoughts. "Basically, I was chum and they were sharks. They ate me alive. I had suicidal thoughts while I was getting off stage," recalls the Miami-based comic. After that horrific day, OC recollected his thoughts and got back on to it and hasn't looked back since. A favorite at many clubs and colleges, this Colombian-born, American-raised loco doesn't consider himself a comedian. "I'm more of a confused nut case seeking free therapy," says OC. His life motto of "It's not comedy, its psychology" originated when he visited a psychologist to tell him what he thought. The psychologist pretty much pissed in his pants laughing, leaving OC even more confused. He was wondering whether the shrink was laughing at his words or at him. And after an hour, OC had to pay him $150! Outraged and broke, he left the office and said he needed to get paid to tell people his problems. If OC is not making fun of himself, he's probably making fun of you or spreading his views on race, sex, immigration, relationships, and many other topics. Oscar "OC" Collazos is guaranteed to make you laugh.
