The Multicultural Student Success Conferences (MSSC) are designed to give students the opportunity to learn more about academic success and the career exploration process. Both events will be featured during Hawk Days in conjunction with New Student Orientation.
2010 MSSC Schedule:

  • MSSC Part I – Navigating Your Academic Plan, SMRC Classroom
    This program will enhance and engage students in making the correlation of academic progress through major exploration and programs that support retention and graduation.  This will be accomplished through workshops that feature topics such as choosing a major that aligns with your career aspirations, maintaining your academic goals, and more! A closing speaker will be featured

  • MSSC Part II- Diversifying Your Future, SMRC Classroom
    This program will feature workshop topics such as resume building, searching for internships and jobs, and general career guidance. This program will also feature a networking dinner with a Q&A panel where students can dialogue with company representatives from various organizations.
