FY 2011 TUITION PROPOSAL

(Submitted to the Kansas Board of Regents in May 2010 and approved June 2010)


Overview

FY 2011 is the fourth year in which KU's Four-Year Tuition Compact has been in effect. Under the compact, all new first-time, degree-seeking freshmen pay a set, per-credit-hour tuition rate that will not change for four years. Below are the tuition rates per credit hour for students at the Lawrence and Edwards Campuses, and the Medical Center Campus. All amounts shown are Standard Tuition rates, except for Freshmen, who will pay Compact Tuition rates. (Note: the tuition rates for medical students are semester rates)

Lawrence and Edwards Campuses

  • $262.50 - Resident Freshmen (Four-Year Compact Tuition rate for freshmen entering Fall 2010)
  • $689.35 - Nonresident Freshmen (Four-Year Compact Tuition rate for freshmen entering Fall 2010)
  • $238.90 - Resident Undergraduate
  • $605.00 - Nonresident Undergraduate
  • $295.50 - Resident Graduate
  • $691.25 - Nonresident Graduate


  • $245.30 - Resident Freshmen (Four-Year Compact Tuition rate for freshmen entering Fall 2009)
  • $644.25 - Nonresident Freshmen (Four-Year Compact Tuition rate for freshmen entering Fall 2009)

  • $229.25 - Resident Freshmen (Four-Year Compact Tuition rate for freshmen entering Fall 2008)
  • $602.05 - Nonresident Freshmen (Four-Year Compact Tuition rate for freshmen entering Fall 2008)

  • $213.00 - Resident Freshmen (Four-Year Compact Tuition rate for freshmen entering Fall 2007)
  • $560.00 - Nonresident Freshmen (Four-Year Compact Tuition rate for freshmen entering Fall 2007)

Medical Center Campus

  • $234.20 - Resident Undergraduate
  • $615.25 - Nonresident Undergraduate
