Certification Process

Five Step Process Towards Certification

Step 1:  Register by filling out the registration form

Step 2:  Document your international experiences, course work and co curricular activities in the
GAP Portfolio

Step 3:  Fill out a Petition form if you want inclusion of an activity, program or course that is not listed on the GAP Web Site

Step 4:  Turn in your portfolio and ARTS form when 2 out of 3 components are completed to:

(Send by email, campus mail, or drop off at the office)

Step 5: A review of your portfolio and ARTS form will be done to verify completion of the progam.
If completed, your name will be forwarded to the registrar's office for certification on your KU transcript.

NOTE: This program is free and open to all undergraduates regardless of their major. Students who have completed some or all of the requirements can receive retroactive GAP credits.
