In addition, each individual laboratory in our department is equipped
with internet-linked computers to allow for database, literature and other
information searches. Research equipment is shared freely among faculty
and students within the Molecular Biosciences department, the Division
of Biological Sciences, and the School of Pharmacy.
Also, the University of Kansas maintains several service facilities for use by all faculty and students. Each of these facilities is staffed by full-time technicians who carry out analytical techniques or instruct investigators to use the instruments:
