Global Research Collaborations

This research retreat was held July 16 - 18, 2008 at The Barn, Valley Falls, Kansas. Our two keynote speakers were Dr. David Lightfoot, Assistant Director, Directorate for Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences at the National Science Foundation, and Dr. Marion Müller, Director of the North American Office of the German Research Foundation.

Regional research administrators and research faculty participated in formal presentations, moderated discussions, and then conference participants continued related discussions over meals and in the relaxed atmosphere. The white paper, candid photos, and participant list from the retreat may be accessed at the following links: White Paper. Conference photo gallery. Participant list.
