Prerequisites:

1. Verify cc.ku.edu is in the DNS Suffix. It should be the first suffix in the search order. If it does not exist, then please add it.
2. Ping csadmin0. If this ping fails, then verify cc.ku.edu exists in the DNS suffix.

Steps to Install PeopleSoft:

1. Login to the workstation with an account that has Administrator privileges.
2. Login to Csadmin0, which is in the ukans tree.
3. Check for existing Oracle installation by typing "path" at the command prompt. If any form of "ORA" shows up in the results, abort further installation. If not, continue.

 Oracle Installation
4. Go To "T:\PeopleSoft Setup Shortcuts" and run "A. PSFT Oracle.msi".
5. Click "Next" at the "Welcome to the Install Shield..." screen. This may take a few minutes to finsih.
6. Click "Finish" at the "Install Shield Wizard Completed" screen.
7. Run "B. Copy SQLNet ORA Files to Client.bat" from "T:\PeopleSoft Setup Shortcuts". This step will flash a screen for a second and is finsihed.

 Crystal Reports Installation
8. Run "C. Crystal Reports for PeopleSoft.msi" from "T:\PeopleSoft Setup Shortcuts".
9. Click "Next" at the "Welcome to the Install Shield..." screen. This may take a few minutes to finish.
10. Click "Finsih" at the "Install Shield Wizard Completed" screen.

 Prephix Installation
11. Run "D. Install Prephix" from "T:\PeopleSoft Setup Shortcuts".
12. Click "OK". Prephix will install quickly. Click "OK" again.
13. Reboot the computer.

 Verifying PeopleSoft Connectivity
14. Please click here for directions on how to verify that PeopleSoft is connecting to the database.

Notice: Please alert users that they may see an installation when they use Crystal Reports for the first time. This is normal to verify the settings for each user profile.
