The Center to Mobilize Early Childhood Knowledge
This is a current project.
Description
The Center to Mobilize Early Childhood Knowledge at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is working to create a series of interactive, online modules that can be infused into existing professional development efforts in general and special education programs at the college and university level. A subcontract with LSI investigators, this project will work to create partnerships with families to develop and implement the modules. Specifically, these partnerships will be used to gather input from families on their priorities, develop ways that family members can be co-instructors with professionals, tap into family insights on specific topics and identify how materials can be field-tested with families. Conducted in partnership with Parent to Parent USA, the project will help assure that the modules ultimately reflect and promote family-centered practices.
