Description

This project is conducting a large study of twins in cooperation with researchers in Australia, England and Nebraska to look for a genetic component of Specific Language Impairment (SLI). The project also is conducting a longitudinal study of non-twin children with SLI in Kansas and Missouri. The research will examine genetic and environmental factors in SLI and subsequent reading impairments in young children.
