Autism: Social and communication predictors in siblings
This is a current project.
Description
This project is a collaborative effort between researchers at the University of Kansas, the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore and the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. The purpose is to examine the language deficits of children with Specific Language Impairment (SLI) and the language deficits of children with autism. The KU effort focuses on children with SLI who have never received a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The data will be used to compare language impairments in ASD, SLI and Broader Autism Phenotype (BAP).
