La Tierra mágica. (#16) 143 slides. La tierra mágica: Una exploración cultural de La América Latina is a resource guide on Latin American culture. The slides may be used separately, but they are designed to supplement to a 9 unit course for use in Spanish classes for U.S. students at the advanced high school level or intermediate to advanced college level. The course was developed with three primary goals in mind: first, to introduce students to basic information about elements in history, sociology, and the humanities that influence life in contemporary Latin America; second, to help students develop a global perspective on social, political and cultural factors which are common to peoples throughout the world: and third, to promote the development of students' communicative skills in Spanish.
