Jobs & Careers

Depending on how well you do in school and your area of emphasis, you could have many career options. You might work as a genetics counselor or in a pharmaceutical lab developing a new vaccine. You could use your research skills in commercial labs creating new strains of seed corn or at an FBI serology lab helping to identify crime suspects. You might work in a zoo, in the forest service, or on a ship testing for pollutants in our oceans and lakes. If you go to graduate school, you could teach at a university and supervise your own lab. You will be limited only by your interests and your ability to develop and use your skills.
