After graduation, Nicole earned her M.F.A. in Screenwriting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She was a semi-finalist judge for the Nevada Film Office's Screenwriting Contest, and a quarterfinalist in the Scriptapalooza TV Writing Competition. She has a screenplay in competition at the Beverly Hills Film Festival. A TV series she created is currently in pre-production in Arizona where she freelances as a script doctor.
