Appointment
Dr. Ukpokodu is a Professor of African & African-American Studies (AAAS)
and of Theatre & Film. He is also the chair of AAAS. He has previously taught
at the University of Benin in Benin City, and at the Bida College of Technology
in Nigeria.
Research and Publications
Dr. Ukpokodu's research interests cover theater, religion and culture in
Africa and the African diaspora.

He is currently editing
a book, "International Theatre Practice," and researching on African
theater history from ancient times to Independence.
