Mission
To enhance multi-agency coordination to provide efficient, sufficient and reliable
transportation to all Kansans.
Background
The Kansas United We Ride effort was initiated in 2004 to provide a forum to
explore improved human service transportation coordination in the State of Kansas.
Governor Sebelius established the Governor's Committee on Human Service Transportation
Coordination and the Governor's Cabinet Secretaries have appointed key staff
to participate in efforts to explore opportunities at the state, regional and
local level to improve mobility throughout the State, particularly to transportation-disadvantaged
Kansans.
