Research Statement:

I am interested in the relationship between individual states and the Supreme Court. More specifically, what states have a high tendency to produce policies that are ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. I intend to determine what areas of the US Constitution states violate most often, why policies are ruled unconstitutional, and if there is a correlation between policies that have been ruled unconstitutional in comparison to those that have been upheld.
