Emails at KU are a matter of public record unless you make it so that 
your email is not listed.  If you do a search on KU's website for 
people, you'll find email addresses, potentially street addresses and 
phone numbers.  I'm sure there is some master list available for people 
like Patrick Morris.  Apparently he felt I couldn't read the the first 
message he sent me so he sent me a second.  I believe there is a way to 
unlist your KU email, but I don't know how to do that.  It's just a 
matter of how easy you want people to be able to find your email addy.  
Since I typically don't get lots of emails, I like it that people can 
find me easily.
