The Heart of True Leadership:
Supervisory Training for the Public Workforce

Three-Day Supervisory Training
Generally indviduals receive training when they first move into a supervisory role. But over time they identify new areas where they'd like to hone their skills as their role evolves, the workforce changes, and new research on effective management practices emerges. This 3-day course is designed to make sure participants walk away with enhanced skills and new strategies to manage staff effectively whether they're new to a supervisory role or have held those responsibilities for years.

This award-winning training is practical, engaging, and relevant for new supervisors and experienced leaders seeking a quick refresher. You'll attend class with other supervisors working in a variety of public service organizations so you'll benefit from the variety of perspectives in class in addition to gaining new skills and ideas from the course materials.

Class size is limited to ensure adequate discussion and individual attention.

Concepts we'll explore include:
  • Leadership Styles
  • Transitions and Change
  • Promoting Customer Service
