The KU Public Management Center provides the organizations of Kansas and its professionals with the tools for achieving and managing successful work environments. Depending on your needs, our custom courses are available in Open Enrollment or Customized formats.

The KU Public Management Center offers custom training in several forms. Organizational Custom Courses are designed to meet the needs of specific organizations or agencies. Recent examples include:
Open Enrollment Custom Courses are scheduled at the PMC and open to any individuals. Recent examples include:
Basic Supervisory Training: The Heart of True Leadership received an award in February 2007 as an Exceptional Non-Credit Program from the Association of Continuing Higher Education, Region VII.
The PMC uses several assessment instruments—including Emotional Intelligence and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator—for courses focused on team-building, personnel management and staff development.
Courses are offered when minimum enrollment numbers are met. All courses are also available on a contract basis.
