Eddie Sheppard

Eddie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with Bachelor of Science degrees in Public Administration and Political Science, as well as a minor in Recreation Management. While at UW-L, Eddie developed a passion for public service through various experiences including volunteer work at the Boys and Girls Club and internships for both the Fond du Lac Recreation Department and the La Crosse Planning Department.

While attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Eddie was a four-time letter winner for the UW-L baseball team and earned the University’s Scholar Athlete Award. Aside from organized sports, Eddie also has a fondness for outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, and snowboarding.

Eddie is currently interning in the City Manager’s Office in Overland Park, Kansas. He has worked on numerous projects including working with ICMA to improve the city’s performance measures, data analysis of city services, and has worked with the private sector outsourcing city projects.
