Rob graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Public Administration. At KU, he worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Public Administration Professor Charles Epp. Rob was also a member of the Student Activities Board at the Edwards Campus. He is a member of the University of Kansas’s Sigma Alpha Lambda Chapter and is the Vice-President of the Class of 2009.
Prior to KU, Rob attended Central Missouri University in Warrensburg, MO. Rob was President of the Epsilon Gamma Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, State President of MO C-MENC, Chapter President of C-MENC, and Speaker of the Student Senate. Rob was also a representative on several academic committees including the Curriculum Review Committee for the Department of Education as well as the University Parking and Traffic Committee.
Rob spent several years in the private sector before attending KU. He spent four years in retail management and three years in the financial sector. Rob’s management experience has provided extensive leadership opportunities as well as organizational experience in hiring, promotion, and team dynamics.
Rob is currently a Management Intern at the City of Bonner Springs, KS. He is working on several projects for the City, including a comprehensive right-of-way code, storm water management program, and water conservation model. Rob is also working on a grant proposal for the City to address erosion and stream bank issues within the City.
