Min Gang Kim

Min Gang was born in Seoul, South Korea. She received a B.A. in Public Administration and a minor in Sociology with Magna Cum Laude in 2006 from Ewha Womans University, Seoul, South Korea. She was awarded full financial support for undergraduate studies from the Dooeul Scholarship Foundation which was established by Samsung to bring up excellent woman leaders. She also received a MPA from Ewha Womans University in 2008, and she was awarded full scholarship for graduate studies from the university. She has two publications with professor Tong Hee Park who was her advisor in Ewha Womans University: “Organizational Status Insecurity and Citizenship Behavior of Civil Servants in Seoul Metropolitan Government” in Korean Public Policy and Studies and “The Effects of Personnel Administrative Fairness on Organizational Citizenship Behavior under the New Liberalistic Reform of Personnel Administration in Seoul Metropolitan Government” in Korean Public Administration Review. While at Ewha, she worked as a research assistant in the project of the Korea Research Foundation. Min Gang joined the Ph.D. program in the Department of Public Administration at the University of Kansas in fall 2009. Her research interests include organization theory, organizational behavior, motivation, job insecurity, and trust in government.
