    Paul Brandenburger

    Paul Brandenburger grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, where he earned a BA in Communication from the University of North Florida after serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Following graduation, Paul earned a diploma in Art, Design and Photography at Portfolio Center in Atlanta GA, and began his career as an advertising copywriter at Leo Burnett in Chicago, where he wrote for Heinz Ketchup, United Airlines, and Kraft Salad Dressings. Paul comes to KU from Spokane, Washington, where he worked on his MPA at Eastern Washington University, and where he was the Creative Director for WhiteRunkle advertising, managing the creative departments in both the Seattle and Spokane offices. Paul’s public service work includes positions on the boards of several non-profit agencies, and a term as a community-elected member of the Public-Radio Advisory Board for KUNM in Albuquerque, NM. A first-year doctoral student in Public Administration, Paul serves as a Graduate Research Assistant to Professor H. George Frederickson. His research interests include Administrative Communications and Nonprofit Management.
