Kansas Governor Visits PMC Class

After 34 years at KU, Professor Ray Davis is retiring at the end of the spring 2007 semester.  His son, Kansas Representative Paul Davis, arranged for the Governor of Kansas, Kathleen Sebelius, to make a surprise visit to Ray's final class at the Public Management Center in Topeka.  Governor Sebelius, a 1980 graduate of the KU MPA program, read a certificate of recognition for Ray and was generous in her praise of the KU MPA program. This was a very special moment for Ray, the MPA program, and for KU.
