Michael J. Moody joined the PUAD faculty in Fall 2006. He comes to KU from the University of Kentucky, where he holds a doctorate in public administration from the Martin School of Public Policy and Administration.  His research interests fall broadly in the area of public budgeting and finance, with a particular emphasis on debt policies and management.

Michael's current teaching responsibilities include a course in public finance taught to MPA students and an undergraduate course surveying the field of public budgeting.  He has been impressed with the KUCIMATS he has met and looks forward to meeting many, many more.
