Maj. Gen. Bennet Sacolick visits KU law class
LAWRENCE — Maj. Gen. Bennet Sacolick visited the University of Kansas on Tuesday to give a lecture in Advanced International Trade Law, a course taught by Raj Bhala, associate dean for international and comparative law and Rice Distinguished Professor.
Sacolick currently serves as the Commanding General of the United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center. In that capacity, he is responsible for the training of all Army Special Operations Forces.
KU provides a master’s degree in global and international studies to selected SOF officers. KU's School of Law offers such courses as Islamic Law and Public International Law for officers pursuing the master's.
Sacolick also met with KU senior officials during his visit to the Lawrence campus.
