Interfaith panel featuring KU professor to air on C-SPAN

LAWRENCE— The Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College, Georgia, sponsored a panel discussion, “King, Mays and Thurman: Interfaith Pioneers” on Jan. 17 as a part of the college’s Month of King events.

Randal Maurice Jelks, professor of African and African-American Studies at the University of Kansas, was on the panel.

C-SPAN has announced plans to air the panel discussion in the next week. Showings will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11; 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, and 4:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13. All times are CST. For those without television access to C-SPAN, watch the panel via webstream.
