Thanks to the generous bequest by Ruben Zadigan, the Environmental Studies Program at the University of Kansas is able to offer the "Ruben Zadigan Undergraduate Scholarship in Environmental Studies." Students who are entering or who are already attending the University of Kansas and are majoring in Environmental Studies may receive this scholarship. The scholarship will be based primarily on the evidence of a student's academic excellence and dedication to environmental issues. Consideration may be given for ethnicity and financial need. The amount of this scholarship may vary. The award ranges from $1,000 - $2,000 per year (one half awarded in August and the other half awarded in January).
Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours or more per semester in order to receive this award for the academic year. Please note that this award is for Environmental Studies majors only. If a student changes their major, they will no longer be eligible to receive this scholarship.
