Lost & Found

The KU Public Safety Office's Lost and Found is the centralized Lost and Found for the KU campus. Lost items are stored for three months. After that period, they are disposed or given to charity.

Retrieving Lost Items

To contact us about a lost item, please call 864-5910 or complete the Lost and Found form. Items may be picked up between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, at 1501 Crestline Drive, Suite 120.

Provide the following information when inquiring about a lost item.

  • Your name
  • Description of the item
  • Location where the item may have been lost
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address

The Lawrence Police Department has a Lost and Found for items that may have been lost in off-campus Lawrence. They can be reached by calling 832-7559.
