Achievement Award

• Deadline: March 1 (if the annual deadline falls on a weekend the application is due the following Monday)
• Applications should be turned in to Pamela Scott, Office of Multicultural Affairs, Strong Hall Room 145
• Criteria: Minimum GPA 3.0 undergraduate/3.5 graduate/2.5 Law School
• Student must be returning to KU for the next academic year.

BFSC Unit Award

This award is given to an academic or administrative unit that exhibits a commitment to diversity in the workplace through any or all of the following activities:

• aggressive recruitment of black faculty or staff
• establishment of a work environment conducive to the retention of black faculty or staff
• development and successful implementation of a diversity plan
