Giving

Department of Art HistoryGifts to the Kress Foundation Department of Art History allow us to fund initiatives on behalf of our undergraduate and graduate students in ways otherwise not possible. Over time, even small amounts create substantial funding for the department. You are also invited to join the Dean's Club of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and to name the History of Art Department as the beneficiary of your membership contribution. By honoring donors who give $1,000 or more in a single fiscal year, the Dean's Club encourages the leadership-level annual gifts that form the basis of the department's continued achievements. Gifts to any fund within the department count toward recognition in the Dean's Club.

For a lasting impact on the department, your major gift could establish an endowed fund that would provide financial support in perpetuity. Such an endowed fund could be named for you or for someone else of your designation.

Nancy Jackson, our development director at the Kansas University Endowment Association, would be happy to answer your questions and assist you in creating an endowed fund, setting up a planned gift, or making another kind of contribution to the History of Art Department. She can be reached at (785-832-7357) or njackson@kuendowment.org. You can also use your credit card to give online to the significant funds listed below.

We extend our sincere thanks and deep appreciation for the generous support of the department's alumni and friends, who have partnered with us in our commitment to academic and professional excellence.
