Our Hearst Magazines Sales Training Program is an intensive 12-month program designed to develop the next generation of sales leaders and begins in June 2012.

The purpose of the program is to prepare recent college graduates for a successful career within Hearst Magazines. As part of a small group, trainees will learn the aspects of selling advertising on a variety of platforms (such as print, online and tablets).

Those who are accepted will be developed through a combination of on-the-job training at one of our consumer brands. A:        Yes, this is a full-time, paid position with benefits, including paid days off (vacation, personal, sick, summer Fridays, holidays).  Paid days off are pro-rated based on date of hire.

Q:        What are the business hours?
A:        Our standard work day is eight hours a day, five days a week.  Our official business hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and you are entitled to an hour for lunch.  However, due to the nature of our client work, overtime may be necessary to address workflow encountered during peak periods or resulting from unanticipated events.  Lunch hours can be erratic; you may be asked to work on weekends and holidays.  It all depends on client needs.
