Welcome to the School of Journalism's listings of internships and jobs. Click on the appropriate link below to find a list of opportunities that fit your interest area.
If you find an intership that appeals to you, send the contact person a cover letter and resume. If you need help with writing or editing either of these documents, make an appointment with Patty Noland, career development coordinator. You can do so online through the public folders of Outlook.
Please note that some internships are paid; others are not. If an internship is unpaid, you may be eligible to enroll in the internship class. Eligibility requires successful completion of the appropriate prerequisite. For journalism students in the news and information track, the prerequisite course is Journalism 415, Multimedia Reporting. For students in the strategic communication track, the prerequisite course is Journalism 435, Message Development. If an internship is paid, students cannot earn credit.
