Registering for Classes at KU

Enroll & Pay

In order to get an idea of classes that suit your interests or academic goals, please visit http://www.opensections.ku.edu/ to view a list of KU courses.
Once you choose your course schedule, with the help of your advisor, and go through the required check-ins (p. 5), visit https://sa.ku.edu and access the KU Enroll & Pay system with your KU online ID (this is not your student ID number). If you do not have an online ID, visit https://www.ku.edu/technology/online.shtml or wait to have an ISSS advisor help you during the ISSS check-in process.
Students taking AEC classes will enroll through the AEC.

Enrollment Requirement for International Students

F-1 and J-1 international students must be enrolled in a full course of study each regular term. Generally, undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, and graduate F-1 and J-1 students are required to be enrolled 9 credit hours.
If, for any reason, you do not meet these requirements or are planning to drop below the minimum hours required, you must first speak with an ISSS advisor, or you will risk falling out of status. You will receive more information about this at the ISSS check-in.

Fee Payment & Late Fee

View the payment deadlines at: http://www.registrar.ku.edu/calendar/academic.shtml Students who enroll after classes begin will have to pay a late fee.
Enrollment questions should be directed to your academic advisor or the Registrar’s Office (785.864.4423 or kuregistrar@ku.edu).
