Cost of Attendance
Costs for attending KU are calculated by the number of credit hours enrolled and the current program of study. Total estimated expenses for undergraduates for the 2009-2010 academic year range from $28,822.00 to $34,111.00. Click on the links below for details of tuition and estimated living expenses:

As a part of the application process, applicants in F-1 or J-1 status must submit proof of financial support for the first year of study. Financial documents must be dated and less than 6 months old, indicating the type and amount of currency. An English translation of financial documents must be provided. If the bank account is not in the applicant’s name, please attach a statement signed by the account holder indicating the relationship to the student for whom the support will be provided. Acceptable financial documentation includes:
Official bank statement from checking, savings, stock holdings and/or certificate of deposit
Official bank letter on letterhead indicating date account opened, average balance and current balance
Scholarship or sponsorship letter verifying amount, source and dates of award
Scholarships - KU offers a few partial scholarships for qualified newly admitted international students. To be considered for a scholarship, you must submit a complete application by the scholarship deadline. Please see the scholarship section.
