International Undergraduate Admissions

Application Process

  1. Complete the Online International Student Application
    Or mail the paper International Student Application
    to the Office of International Undergraduate Admissions.
    Students seeking readmission to KU, please visit Readmission
  2. Pay the application fee of $75. Credit card payments are accepted only with online application; otherwise pay by check or money order issued to the University of Kansas. If you are submitting a paper application, checks must be issued from a bank with a US affiliate and show the mailing address of the US bank. It is also possible to wire money to the University of Kansas if you make a special request.
  3. Send original official educational records, transcripts, or examination results. Please see additional freshmen or transfer student requirements in the timelines below and view our section on Academic Records

          

  4. Send required financial documentation. See Cost of Attendance.

  5. To check on the status of your application, change or update information you have submitted, you may contact issapps@ku.edu. Please include your complete name and the semester for which you applied. When updating or changing admission to another semester, financial documents must be less than 6 months old from the date of request.
  6. If someone is helping you with your application, please complete the 3rd party release form so that we can communicate with the proper person about your application.

Non-degree seeking students. International students may apply as non-degree seeking only in special cases. Non-degree seeking students use the same application form, pay the same fee and must submit complete academic records. Please see Non-degree seeking options.

Please complete all forms and documents in English. All transcripts should be presented in the language of instruction with an English translation. All forms and documents submitted become the property of the university and will not be returned . Mail the completed application form, your official academic records and financial documents to:
