Application Process Students may apply as degree seeking or in special cases as non-degree
seeking using the same application form. See "Item 2. Enrollment Information" of the online application or items 26 & 27 of the PDF application.
Complete application online or mail the paper application to the Office of International Student and Scholar Services.
Pay the application fee of $75. Credit card payments are accepted online only; otherwise pay by check or money order issued to the University of Kansas. Checks must be issued from a bank with a US affiliate and must show the mailing address of the US bank. It is also possible to wire money to the University of Kansas if you make a special request.
Send original official educational records, transcripts, or examination results. See Academic Records; First-year applicants who have not yet attended college or university must submit official records proving completion of secondary education (transcripts, mark sheets, diplomas, certificates or official examination results); Transfer applicants who have already attended college or university must present official transcripts from all post-secondary course work.
To check on the status of your application, change or update information you have submitted, you may contact issapps@ku.edu. When updating or changing admission to another semester, financial documents must be less than 6 months old from the date of request.
Please complete all forms and documents in English. All transcripts should be presented in both the native language and an English translation. All forms and documents submitted become the property of the university and will not be returned . Mail the completed application form, your official academic records and financial documents to:
