Apply to the School of Business during the semester you will complete the preadmission requirements. (1) Complete 60 college credit hours, including ACCT 200, ACCT 201, DSCI 301, IST 301, ECON 142, and ECON 144. Completion of the following courses is strongly recommended: PSYC 104 and one Society and Culture (SC) course. (2) Acheive a GPA of 2.5 in all course work, in all professional course work (business and economics classes), in course work completed at KU, and in professional course work completed at KU, excluding activity hours. (3) Submit official ACT or SAT scores and professional resume. (4) Admission is competitive. Applicants satisfying minimum requirements are ranked based on ACT composite scores and GPA in all professional course work. Applicants are then admitted based on their position in this ranking and available space in the School of Business.
