Cultural Programs


International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) coordinates a variety of programs and works closely with some community-based programs. Detailed information and applications for any of the below programs can be obtained in ISSS office, Room 2 Strong Hall. A variety of programs and workshops, such as off-campus employment,job search techniques, immigration basics, and tax assistance, are offered throughout the year to provide information about topics that are relevant to international students.

    Media Contact Service

    Newspaper, television, or radio reporters ocassionally request an interview with an international student from a particular country or region of wht world for the purpose of gaining insights, information, or opinions related to a news story they are producing. Topics may range from personal or cultural interests to current economic and political situations. The names and directory information for students who wish to participate in this service will be made available by ISSS to media contacts as applicable requests are received.
