Cultural Programs


International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) coordinates a variety of programs and works closely with some community-based programs. Detailed information and applications for any of the below programs can be obtained in ISSS office, Room 2 Strong Hall. A variety of programs and workshops, such as off-campus employment,job search techniques, immigration basics, and tax assistance, are offered throughout the year to provide information about topics that are relevant to international students.

    International Student Association

    The organization merges all of the nationalities represented on the KU campus to promote international friendships and cultural appreciation. members are treated to an array of social events throughout the academic term. Highlighthing the spring semester, ISA hosts a week of international awareness programs culminating in the World Expo and Festival of Nations, which features talents and fashions from around the world. (Requires completing a separate ISA membership form)
