The Inclusive Network of Kansas is a collaborative of professionals and agencies interested in improving the skills of professionals to meet the learning needs of students who qualify for special education. It provides high quality professional development and access to a free peer-based technical assistance network.

The Network operates from the mission of empowering teams of students, families, educational staff and communities to improve the quality of life and resources for students through current best practices. To accomplish this, the Network utilizes Field Based Technical Assistance (FBTA) and Field Based Professional Development (FBPD). Additionally, the Network partners with other Kansas agencies and Institutes of Higher Education to enhance the effect of the statewide technical assistance and professional development.

The Network provides support for:

  1. Learners who qualify for special education and would benefit from positive behavioral supports and
  2. Learners with severe disabilities and deaf-blindness.
  3. Learners who qualify for special education who are transitioning to adulthood.
  4. Learners who are participating in the Kansas Alternate Assessment.
