IMSD: Enhanced Math Classes
KU wants you to succeed in math! As part of a pilot program at KU, we have enhanced a single section
of these math classes by increasing the time of instruction.

What are the requirements?
Students will attend 5 classes a week (instead of 3) for
Math 115 and spend an extra 50 minutes per week for Math 121, with the
additional time for intensive and supplemental instruction. Students
in these classes will study with their instructor at a slower pace will receive
more personalized attention.
These classes cover the same challenging material as the traditional
classes, but they provide a more supportive academic environment. Since students
should spend greater than 10 hours per week studying math anyway, why not
spend some of that time studying with your instructor and friends, for no
extra cost!
