Eligibility Requirements

Admittance into KU IMSD is competitive. U.S. citizens or legal residents who are enrolled as full time students at KU are eligible to apply. Students who are accepted into the program must intend to apply to a graduate program the sciences and have a serious interest in a career in biomedical research.

Deadline

Pre-applications are accepted throughout the year. To inquire about the status of your application, please contact the IMSD program coordinator.

Instructions

The first step in the application process is to submit a pre-application. The pre-application is designed to confirm applicants' eligibility prior to completing the official application. You may complete the pre-application online or download the pre-application form as a PDF.

You will receive notification if you are selected to complete an official application. If you have been selected to complete an official application, two letters of recommendation should be submitted along with the application. Submit all materials to the IMSD program coordinator:
