Transition to Teaching: KU-KCKPS Partnership in Education

The Transition to Teaching project serves as recruitment of mid-career professionals to teach high-need subject areas for Kansas City, Kansas secondary schools.  It provides a delivery of a professional education curriculum that merges theory with practice directly related to teaching and learning in an urban environment.  It provides ongoing mentoring and support to ease the transition into teaching.
