Kansas Reading Academy

Kansas Reading Academy provides professional development to K-3 grade classroom, Title I, and Special Education teachers in the area of literacy. The five core areas of reading: Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension are covered during our professional development sessions.

The content is delivered through several different learning opportunities:

Summer Kansas Reading Academy; Kansas Reading First Title I Academy; Title I Extended Academy; Interactive Distance Learning (IDL) Sessions; and the Online Kansas Reading Academy.
