Summer 2009 Kansas Reading Academy
Registration for the Summer 2009 Kansas Reading Academy is now open. Registration for targeted schools began Febuary 9, 2009. Registration is now open to all K-3 classroom, Special Education, Title I, and ELL teachers as of March 9, 2009.
Once again, there are great incentives for teachers who attend this Academy. Each teacher who completes the 4 1/2 day professional development opportunity will receive a $250 stipend. In addition, if a teacher lives more than 30 miles from the nearest Academy location, the Academy will pay for the cost of the hotel room.
