Please join us for an afternoon with NEH Program Officer in the Office of Digital Humanities Perry Collins.

She will give a presentation that will cover NEH funding opportunities for digital projects, including project examples. The talk will be followed by 20-30 minutes of discussion and Q&A about issues raised during the talk, or about individual projects.

Collins will also offer a limited number of individual or project team appointments about potential proposals. These appointments will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Space is very limited, so contact the Hall Center at 864-4798 or hallcenter@ku.edu to inquire about availability.

Perry Collins joined the Office of Digital Humanities as a program officer in August 2011, and her day-to-day work includes advising potential grant applicants, administering grant programs, and doing outreach for those who are interested in undertaking projects at the intersection of humanities research and technological innovation. She holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Master's degree in American Studies from the University of Kansas. Before coming to the NEH, Collins worked at the Center for Informatics Research in Science and Scholarship at the University of Illinois and at the Kansas City Public Library.
