Bernie Kish, current lecturer in Sports Management at KU, former Executive Director of the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, Indiana for 10 years, and prior to that at KU in various capacities with athletics for several years, will talk about the legendary Notre Dame coach who died in a plane crash in 1931 in the Flint Hills. There is a display at the service center on the Turnpike at Matfield Green, near the site of the crash on Rockne. Kish is an enthusiastic speaker whose interest in the subject is great.
